February 26 2017 We Live by the Sun Feel by the Moon

General for Week Commencing: Monday 27 February 2017

   Aries Monday 27 February 2017  Mar 21 - Apr 19
In a complicated week start with Mars, warrior planet of the cosmos and your ruling planet and you can’t go wrong. In his last full week in Aries Mars knows that he won’t be back until later 2018 and that the passion, warrior spirit and fight to embrace the things that excite you that are being born now, will be the lifeblood for that journey. In the early part of the week Mars is aligned with Uranus and Eris, bringing you as close to realising your personal truth than at any other time in your lifetime. I can only imagine then, that Jupiter should choose that moment to move into opposition. Jupiter and Mars’ opposition on Monday and Tuesday exactly mirrors Mars’ once in a lifetime alignment. Bad timing? Anything but. Lucky Jupiter knows what makes you tick and is challenging you to fight back, just when that’s exactly what you need to be doing.

   Taurus Monday 27 February 2017  Apr 20 - May 20
There are two things that you need to know about this week. The first is that things could get stressful. The second is that it brings nothing but opportunities and will ultimately work to your advantage. A clue comes from the fact that it is lucky Jupiter under pressure, but also giving as good as he gets. You’re in the last full week of your old Mars cycle and with a lot of nostalgia in the air you don’t have too much energy to play around with. That will change dramatically when Mars returns to Taurus next Friday, but for now you may be running on empty. An opposition from Jupiter in your work sector won’t go down well and this may create some work tension and job pressure. Except that in retrograde motion in your work sector Jupiter is using the planets on the other side of the sky as a crash barrier. Both sides want the same thing.

   Gemini Monday 27 February 2017  May 21 - Jun 21
A week that begins with a solar eclipse in your career sector puts the focus firmly on your professional game, while drawing a major line in the sand. Yet this is not just about your professional game or even about what is happening now. This is the third solar eclipse in this competitive part of your chart in as many years, with this solar eclipse tied directly to the two that have gone before. This is impacting both your personal and professional goals and ambitions or anything that you’ve been striving for. This harks back to the dreams and passions you moved into the year with. It will be another 17 years before there is another solar eclipse here, with a sense that it’s now or never when it comes to embracing the things that excite you. Whatever you throw yourself into has plenty of support.

   Cancer Monday 27 February 2017  Jun 22 - Jul 22
This week is dominated by three major events, any one of them powerful and important even to have an impact on the year itself, not just this week. When you look at the three individually they don’t make sense, but collectively they do. All three peak at the same time, which is the early days of the week, so it’s not even that you can schedule them in one after the other. Those three events are a solar eclipse in an adventurous part of your chart, the most important alignment of career forces ever and a major Jupiter opposition. How you can balance such powerful adventurous and professional forces is a mystery, until you factor in Jupiter. This Jupiter opposition is all about bringing home the importance of work/life balance. You even have Saturn on standby, making it easy to work smarter.

   Leo Monday 27 February 2017  Jul 23 - Aug 22
Since Mercury left your work sector earlier in the month you’ve enjoyed the best of both worlds. There hasn’t been that constant need to have your work hat on 24/7, yet there has been enough momentum and support across the income, work and career fronts. You have one more week before your professional year not only cranks up another gear, but you move into what are likely to be the busiest and most expansive professional months of 2017. It will all begin with Mars, warrior planet of the cosmos’ return to your career sector next Friday. However, you’ll get some clues on what you’re lining up for when the Moon moves through your career sector from Thursday to Saturday. Until then there is a chance to get money matters on track, thanks to a solar eclipse already underway in your financial sector as you move into the new week.

   Virgo Monday 27 February 2017  Aug 23 - Sep 22
It’s the money gods that are creating a lot of drama this week, drama that you are best off to ignore, while still enjoying the benefits. In his last full week in your financial sector Mars was always going to fuel your financial passions and fighting spirit with a sense of urgency. Yet this year Mars has the kind of support that gives you the confidence to take some bold moves. Pressure from Jupiter in your income sector might seem like a challenge and there could be some financial tension, but the timing is suspicious. Just as you’re finding the confidence to take some bold financial leaps of faith you’re under pressure from lucky Jupiter. What this is, is validation, with the potential for both a financial and income breakthrough. This is also an important week for relationship matters, with a solar eclipse bringing a chance for new beginnings.

   Libra Monday 27 February 2017  Sep 23 - Oct 23
We are all under pressure to some degree or another this week, but you are likely to take this personally and it could impact you more than your cosmic mates. The only others in the same boat are Aries so if you have an Aries friend, partner or spouse, band together. However, be aware that you’ll both be under the same pressure. That pressure is personal and/or relationship tension. A line up of planets in your relationship sector actually makes this a stunning week for relationship matters, intense but stunning. The problem, if it can be seen as such, is that Jupiter, moving through Libra, is in opposition. This is simply your own needs fighting back, making it all about balance. So long as there is the right amount of give and take in your relationships, this could be the start of something special, especially by the weekend.

   Scorpio Monday 27 February 2017  Oct 24 - Nov 21
Everything about this week seems to be amplified, bigger and larger than life. A line up of planets in your work sector this week can’t just bring any kind of advantage, it has to be some of the most stunning conditions ever. And the pressure they are under can’t be any kind of work tension and job pressure, it has to come from lucky Jupiter. Even the playful forces that are valiantly trying to maintain a balance between work and play aren’t doing anything in a low key way. Instead of the week starting with a New Moon in a fun, playful, romantic and creatively charged part of your chart, it begins with a solar eclipse. It’s no wonder you’ll feel like finding a quiet corner to hide away from at times, with all this cosmic noise. At the end of the day some stunning breakthroughs are possible, while you’re being reminded of the importance of balance.

   Sagittarius Monday 27 February 2017  Nov 22 - Dec 21
In a week full of big personalities, major cosmic alignments, a solar eclipse and even a major cosmic opposition, an ordinary lunar visit might fly under the radar. Yet the Moon’s visit to your work sector from Thursday to Saturday is not only likely to be grounding, but holds some valuable clues to what is developing next week. This is the Moon’s last visit to your work sector before Mars returns to your work sector next Friday, kicking off your busiest but also the most expansive months of 2017 on the work and job front. Until now there has been just the right balance keeping income, work and career forces on track to keep the wheels turning, without being a threat for all things fun, playful, romantic and creative. Yet with clues to busy times ahead, this is a timely reminder of just how important a balance between work and play is.

   Capricorn Monday 27 February 2017  Dec 22 - Jan 19
Forget ‘abracadabra’ your magic words this week are ‘work/life balance’. And just like any magic words, this will be the key to seizing all this week’s opportunities and avoiding all its pitfalls. The problem this week, if it can be seen as a problem, is that this is a stunning week for home, family and/or property matters. With Mars in his last full week in your home and family sector and aligned with some forces that can really make things happen, you’re able to make some stunning headway. There is even a chance for a reunion or second chances over the weekend. No problem there. The problem comes from an opposition with Jupiter in your career sector, putting your home and professional lives into conflict. Yet when you feel work/life balance tensions rise, just remember those magic words and you’ll be okay.

   Aquarius Monday 27 February 2017  Jan 20 - Feb 18
While there are some major developments this week, including a solar eclipse in your income sector and a major opportunity for a communication breakthrough, as important is what isn’t here. For the first time in nearly four months you’ve moved into the week with no planets in Aquarius and no more due until 2018. While your birthday month ended a week before, it was only the Moon and Mercury’s departure over the weekend that finally brought your birthday month to a close. This is when the real journey begins and with a solar eclipse underway on Monday, what better time to draw a line in the sand and commit to the journey ahead. If you haven’t yet got a game plan, resolutions or a bucket list, you’ll need to make it up as you go. The rest of the year and all the experiences ahead are impatient to get going.

   Pisces Monday 27 February 2017  Feb 19 - Mar 20
There are actually two keys managing this week’s financial tension. The first is containment, keeping it strictly to money matters and not letting it spread into other areas of your life. The second is to see this as an opportunity rather than a challenge or a problem to be fixed. There is nothing broken so therefore nothing to fix. This is all because a stunning and powerful alignment of income forces comes to a head just as pressure from Jupiter in your income sector also comes to a head. Yet the fact that a stunning triple alignment of income forces is pushed right when a breakthrough is possible suggests an advantageous push, especially when you consider that the push comes from lucky Jupiter. With the week starting with a solar eclipse in Pisces, this comes with the potential for a fresh start across the board.

February 19 2017 We Live by the Sun Feel by the Moon Weekly Horoscope

General for Week Commencing: Monday 20 February 2017

   Aries Monday 20 February 2017  Mar 21 - Apr 19
Things may get a little intense this week, but it will also be exhilarating. The one thing this won’t be is boring and that’s important, for that is often your biggest complaint at this time of year. It was over the weekend that the month long wind down of your current solar year began, a reflective month that requires more time for navel gazing. The problem is, there will be little or no time for navel gazing, now with Mars already in Aries, firing up your passions and fighting spirit and bringing a call for action. Yet things may get stressful, in which case you’ll welcome the Sun’s slower mandate. You might not want to spend the whole week in life’s slow lane and you’re unlikely to get the chance to, but it will be there when it’s needed. Balance is an important theme this week, across all aspects of your life.

   Taurus Monday 20 February 2017  Apr 20 - May 20
The Sun’s departure from your career sector over the weekend has taken away some of the professional focus, but this will make what remains even more focused. Even Mercury’s departure at the end of the week won’t see things dial back professionally, with Jupiter spending the majority of 2017 in your work sector. This means there will be no escaping a need to work smarter and to balance yourself. The Sun and Mercury’s journey through your career sector was never the problem and instead, they are the key to working smarter and having some clear professional objectives. Jupiter and Mercury will come together in the early part of the week, creating some auspicious days for both work and career matters. Overriding everything is a need to pace yourself, with a greater than normal need for time to hear yourself think.

   Gemini Monday 20 February 2017  May 21 - Jun 21
This week might bring some conflicting agendas, but it’s that very diversity that is likely to make this such a stunning week. The Sun’s return to your career sector over the weekend has put the solar spotlight onto your career and professional situation, matters and options, as happens at this time every year. With so much water having already passed under the bridge, by the time the Moon and Mercury return over the weekend you’ll be ready for the solar eclipse this will create. This is something that will come into effect in the closing hours of the weekend and spill into the early hours of next week. After dancing around your professional dreams and passions since the year began, it’s time to get serious. Yet this comes in a week full of playful and adventurous forces, providing the right balance.

   Cancer Monday 20 February 2017  Jun 22 - Jul 22
Starting the week with the Moon in your work sector is always an advantage, but in the professional week you’ve wandered into, this could be a game changer. This allows you to rely on your wits from the get go, while grounding you with a clear sense of where your time and energy is best directed at any time. The key is to turning any professional pressure this week into motivation, while keeping any hype in perspective. You not only have Mars in your career sector for the first time in nearly two years, but his professional passions, fighting and competitive spirit are being inflated by a potentially game changing triple alignment. With work/life balance also an issue, having your feet on the ground from the get go will make it easier to work smarter in a week that is all about working smarter.

   Leo Monday 20 February 2017  Jul 23 - Aug 22
Oh to be a Leo this week, for it looks like you have scored the cosmic jackpot. Yes, there is pressure this week, for you this is coming from a line up of adventurous forces who are refusing to let you hide behind old excuses. This is being led by Mars, with the warrior planet of the cosmos fuelling a passion for adventure and a hunger for life’s richer experiences. For this you have the most unlikely of allies Saturn, the hard taskmaster of the cosmos. At the same time Saturn deputises himself as the Fun Police and declares his full support for adventurous forces. This should be a treat for new developments on the income, work and career fronts. Yet they are in their own happy bubble, that they don’t see playful and adventurous forces as a threat and vice versa. If you finally get to have it all, then it’s about time.

   Virgo Monday 20 February 2017  Aug 23 - Sep 22
The Sun’s return to your relationship sector at this time each year can often be a mixed blessing and last year in particular this brought some real challenges. There is something about events that happen at the same time each year that make them efficient yard sticks. You’re able to mark your progress on the relationship front by the confidence this comes with this year and the lack of challenges. A better sense of what you want from your relationships and what they need from you means you can start on the right foot. This is mainly a barometer for where you are, with your personal confidence on the rise. Meanwhile, there is a chance to tie up loose ends on the work front this week, after the Sun’s departure over the weekend. Support from and for Jupiter in your income sector will help turn any financial tension into motivation.

   Libra Monday 20 February 2017  Sep 23 - Oct 23
The difference between a challenging and opportune week might all hinge on the Moon and on how you work with it in the early part of the week. There are a lot of big, bold and dramatic personalities in play this week and unfortunately you’re caught right in the crosshairs. There is a lot of focus on relationship matters this week and with Venus and Mars, the planets of love and passion involved, this was always going to be fiery. All the ingredients are there for a major relationship breakthrough, right down to the pressure. For the first time in 12 years lucky Jupiter is in Libra and whether you’ve asked him to or not, he has become your personal advocate. He is keeping those relationship forces in check. And the Moon? The Moon begins the week in your communication sector, able to give you, your emotional responses and relationships a voice.

   Scorpio Monday 20 February 2017  Oct 24 - Nov 21
If the gods had a counsel and between them they nutted out how they could best support Scorpios this week, knowing that they were powerless to stop work tension and job pressure from rising, they couldn’t have worked out a better solution than the one they have. Taken in isolation you have a stunning week for work and job matters, with Mars enjoying one of his best visits ever. Over the weekend Mars will form a triple alignment with one force that has had work matters building behind the scenes for a year and the other for decades. That there is also job pressure, will simply give you more leverage, though there is a very real danger of burnout. So that workaround? Pretty ingenious in fact, for starting the week with the Moon in your income sector and a nose for money, this will naturally incline you towards working smarter from the get go.

   Sagittarius Monday 20 February 2017  Nov 22 - Dec 21
An army of the love and playful gods is the only way to describe the forces assembled in a fun, playful, romantic and creatively charged part of your chart. There is also something fateful in play, something that needs to run its course. You’re moving towards a triple alignment here over the weekend, the likes of which you have never and will never see again. The separate parts yes, but together again like this no. Mars returns to fire up your romantic and creative passions every two years on average. Uranus has been here since 2010, triggering the laws of synchronicity and creating the potential for fateful and serendipitous moments. On the other hand, Eris has been here for 91 years and for the whole of your life has been giving your heart a sense of direction. Their triple alignment over the weekend is something that must be approached with an open mind and heart.

   Capricorn Monday 20 February 2017  Dec 22 - Jan 19
While some reflective and even languid lunar vibes at the start of the week might take the wind out of your sails, they might just be the solutions to this week’s work/life balance issues. This is partly because this really will create a relaxed vibe, making it harder to sweat the small stuff. However, this is also partly because this puts the Moon at a friendly aspect to one half of this week’s problem. Yet problem is too strong a word, for it implies that something is broken and therefore needs fixing, which it does. The Moon is at a friendly aspect to a line up of planets on the home front, a line up that in opposition with Jupiter in your career sector, is bringing any work/life balance issues or tensions to a head. As well as the Moon giving a more positive take on home and family matters, this really will make it harder to sweat the small stuff.

   Aquarius Monday 20 February 2017  Jan 20 - Feb 18
The Moon’s departure from your career sector over the weekend will give any week a head start, ensuring your professional instincts are sharp from the get go. Yet with the Sun spending his first week in your income sector, the timing couldn’t be better, especially as things are already set up and ready to go. By the weekend the early stages of a solar eclipse will be underway, one that brings the promise of an income breakthrough. This saw your birthday month come to an end over the weekend, with Mercury staying on until the end of this week to help you finalise your game plan and resolutions for the coming year. While you can’t plan for every contingency and the year has to evolve naturally, even a vague game plan is better than no game plan. Even if this is just a sense of direction.

   Pisces Monday 20 February 2017  Feb 19 - Mar 20
When the door opens to your birthday month and new solar year the doors to your old solar year often remain open. The last time the Sun returned to Pisces and closed all old doors behind him, was in 2012. In most years Venus and/or Mercury will stay behind to close old doors, lay old ghosts to rest and finish things up. For the past five years you’ve had weeks to do this. This year you have just the six days, until Mercury returns to Pisces at the end of the week. The Moon will return just 77 minutes behind Mercury and that’s when the lead up to a solar eclipse will begin, one that will impact the closing hours of this week and early hours of next week. Until then make the most of a chance to get your bearings and to soak up all that Piscean sunshine. You begin the year with a clear sense of what excites you, but time to simply look out over the landscape ahead first.

February 12 2017 We Live by the Sun Feel By the Moon Weekly Horoscope

General for Week Commencing: Monday 13 February 2017

   Aries Monday 13 February 2017  Mar 21 - Apr 19
If the weekend’s lunar eclipse taught you anything it was the importance of having the right balance between work and play. While the Moon was only passing through a fun, playful, romantic and creatively charged part of your chart at the time, it hints at opportunities ahead. By the time you move into the new week it might be back to having your work hat on, but something has shifted. There are clues, in the early part of the week that there is a coming together of income, work and career forces, but not in a way that threatened to take over your life. In an important week for friendship and relationship building a need for balance is a thread running throughout your life. A balance between work and play, a balance between being a team player and following the beat of your own drum and a balance between your personal and relationship needs are all important.
   Taurus Monday 13 February 2017  Apr 20 - May 20
What a difference a few days make. The weekend’s lunar eclipse put some real pressure on the Sun, just as he moved into his final week in your career sector. This may have been professional and/or work/life balance tension and pressure come to a head. Yet already this is turning into motivation, thanks in part to support from Jupiter in your work sector and by the fact that you now have Mercury on board. It is Mercury’s intellectually savvy edge that allows you to work smarter. At the same time, Jupiter brings home the fact that work/life balance isn’t a challenge to overcome, but a necessity moving forward. Job growth will continue throughout the coming year and with a busy year ahead, work/life balance is more important than ever. As if to bring things home, the week begins with playful lunar vibes in effect.
   Gemini Monday 13 February 2017  May 21 - Jun 21
With the Sun returning to your career sector later in the week, Mercury here by the end of next week and a solar eclipse by the end of the month there are some busy times ahead. Things may have dialled back since Venus and Mars left your career sector, but this is more a chance to take a break, recharge your batteries and get your ducks in a row before the next phase begins. The Sun and Jupiter couldn’t have chosen a better time to join forces, bringing the elements of fun and adventure together in a way that old excuses don’t stand a chance. Until the Sun leaves an adventurous part of your chart over the weekend he was always going to promote embracing a sense of adventure. Yet the Sun has teamed up with Jupiter, who is spending just his second week in retrograde motion in a fun, playful, romantic and creatively charged part of your chart in 12 years.
   Cancer Monday 13 February 2017  Jun 22 - Jul 22
The Moon may have moved on from the weekend’s lunar eclipse in your income sector, but both sides have become energised and there are also likely to be big professional implications. A lunar eclipse is a supercharged Full Moon and a Full Moon, being an opposition between the Sun and Moon, will always have two sides to the story and some tension. In this case the Moon was in your income sector and the Sun in your financial sector, bringing the potential for some financial tension and wakeup calls on both fronts. Yet by Monday the turnaround is dramatic. With the Sun leaving your financial sector over the weekend but Mercury and his smart head for money finally on board, this gives you the motivation to get serious about taking your power back. Meanwhile, expect a new sense of determination across the income, work and career fronts.
   Leo Monday 13 February 2017  Jul 23 - Aug 22
The halfway point of each solar year is always marked by a Full Moon. Always falling during the Sun’s month long visit to your relationship sector, this can be seen as the ‘what about me’ Full Moon. This is a point in the year where your own needs are likely to be forgotten, along with the intentions, promises and expectations you moved into this current solar year with. Yet while the Moon has moved on from the weekend’s Full Moon, a lunar eclipse, this has awoken something that can’t be put back in the box. Unlike most Full Moons this one has been less about harkening back to your birthday month and the intentions made then and more to the future. When the Sun returns to Leo in July your birthday month will host two New Moons, one a total solar eclipse. With major new beginnings ahead the gods are already working to get your attention.
   Virgo Monday 13 February 2017  Aug 23 - Sep 22
The week couldn’t start on a better note as far as work and income matters are concerned, but it could be a case of things finally coming together at just the right time. Chances are, whether you had your work hat on over the weekend or not there is likely to have been some pressure and a lot of indecision. The Sun, moving into his final week in your work sector, was under pressure from a lunar eclipse, one that was throwing up all kinds of alternate ideas in order to play devil’s advocate. Yet the week begins with a new sense of clarity and even a new sense of confidence, on both the job and income fronts. With Mercury spending his first, last and only full week in your work sector it’s time to start making some concrete choices, decisions and plans. Across the work and personal fronts, you have a clearer sense of what’s right for you or will do by midweek.
   Libra Monday 13 February 2017  Sep 23 - Oct 23
While this is an important week for matters of the heart, work matters are set to pick up again and you have some important developments on the relationship front, the most important thing to focus on this week, is you. For the first time in 12 years Jupiter is in retrograde motion in Libra, with the Moon’s return on Tuesday a case of perfect timing. Returning eight days after Jupiter’s retrograde turn, this will see your emotional, intuitive and imaginative responses kick in just as there are signs of movement, albeit in retrograde motion. This also comes just as personal and/or relationship tensions might be starting to pick up, as your personal and relationship needs once more start to grate. There really is a chance for something special on the relationship front, but also for reconnecting with your own personal truth. It is all about balance and having the communication lines open.
   Scorpio Monday 13 February 2017  Oct 24 - Nov 21
While the weekend’s lunar eclipse in your career sector has given your professional year a stunning kick start and this will have ongoing implications across the income, work and career fronts, don’t be surprised if things feel like they’re slowing down. You have an interesting situation starting to develop. Having Mars in your work sector is always going to create some of the busiest conditions in any two year period. Fired up by the weekend’s lunar eclipse, Mars’ normal frenetic pace has been supercharged. Venus, here to give your heart a voice and attract opportunities is slowing down, already applying the brakes ahead of her retrograde turn early next month. Added to this, a need for time to hear yourself think is fighting back. An important week for home and family matters makes working smarter and the right work/life balance a must.
   Sagittarius Monday 13 February 2017  Nov 22 - Dec 21
Starting the week with the Moon in your career sector is always going to be an advantage, but this time it also gives you an intuitive read on a curious situation that has developed over the last two weeks. In the solar system we have the different layers of influence. We have the big boys, planets like Jupiter and Saturn who are the power brokers of the solar system. Then we have the Sun, Venus, Mercury and Mars who determine the most important influence at any given time. Then you have the minor planets, dwarf planets whose influence is more subtle. Right now the big boys are focused on personal empowerment, while working with the faster planets to bring the fun, romance and adventure back into your life. Yet the lower levels planets have got together to create some low key but stunning support across the income, work and career fronts.
   Capricorn Monday 13 February 2017  Dec 22 - Jan 19
While the weekend’s lunar eclipse in your financial sector may have brought financial tensions to a head, the implications are all positive. The Moon has already moved on, but not before firing up your financial instincts, imagination and a new sense of the financial confidence. It is the pressure this put on the Sun, due to leave your income sector at the end of this week that has experienced the most stunning turnaround. You will move into the week with the Sun perfectly aligned with lucky Jupiter, just as he completes his first full week in retrograde motion in your career sector. It is hard to say who is propping up who, but income and career forces have come together at the right time. Yet at the same time that income and professional opportunities are coming together, work/life balance starts to become a lot more important.
   Aquarius Monday 13 February 2017  Jan 20 - Feb 18
The weekend’s lunar eclipse was the only hiccup or roadblock you will face during your birthday month and for that reason you can’t afford to ignore its wakeup calls. With the Moon already gone that would be easy to do, putting it down to a few tough days and rejoice in the fact that it’s over. Yet when the Moon moved into opposition with the Sun over the weekend, as a lunar eclipse, it delivered some of the biggest personal and relationship wakeup calls you’ll get this year. Your birthday month ends when the Sun leaves Aquarius over the weekend, yet the only wakeup calls you’ll get to ensure you’re on the most authentic path, have just been delivered. The tension and any pressure you have to let go for they were only the delivery system. Pay attention to the message behind any strong wakeup calls over the weekend.
   Pisces Monday 13 February 2017  Feb 19 - Mar 20
Starting the week with the Moon in your relationship sector can often be a mixed blessing. This is a combination of the Moon always evoking strong emotional responses and the fact that the Moon can’t move through your relationship sector without moving into opposition with any planets in Pisces. Fortunately this time there is only a skeleton crew, with Venus having left Pisces earlier in the month and the Sun not returning until the weekend. Due to return next month as a Full Moon, this creates just enough personal and/or relationship tensions to ensure you’re paying attention. This is the last personal wakeup call you’ll get before the Sun returns to Pisces to begin your birthday month and new solar year over the weekend. This is also your first chance to appreciate the communication support that has kicked in over recent weeks.

February 5 2017 We Live by the Sun Feel by the Moon Weekly Horoscope

General for Week Commencing: Monday 06 February 2017

   Aries Monday 06 February 2017  Mar 21 - Apr 19
There is a big week in the skies this week and there is nothing bigger than Jupiter’s retrograde turn on Monday. Jupiter, the largest planet in the solar system is going to stop all traffic in its way, putting a red light at the start of the week for most of us. This doesn’t mean things will stay stalled, but while Jupiter is on the turn, everything gets out of his way. Even by midweek, settled into his retrograde phase Jupiter will be a different planet. In retrograde motion in your relationship sector until early Jupiter, this opens the doors to the past and second chances. The week will end with the Sun and Jupiter, the two largest bodies in the solar system linked, creating some auspicious conditions for friendship and relationship building. From the get go make sure the communication lines are open, especially on the relationship front.

   Taurus Monday 06 February 2017  Apr 20 - May 20
Yes, there is a lot going on this week and some very powerful planets and cosmic events in play. For you this week is personal, for you finally get your very own support system. It was during the Moon’s final hours in Taurus over the weekend that Ceres returned, making her the first planet here since, well since she retrograded back out in October. After three months in Taurus Ceres, dwarf planet and goddess of the solar system put things on hold. On a mission to get to the heart of your own needs and priorities, Ceres rightly guessed that with no other planets coming along and no backup, the timing wasn’t right. Ceres promised she would return just before new doors were due to start opening. Her return then can only mean one thing, new doors are about to open. Mars won’t return to Taurus until early next month, but preparations have just begun.

   Gemini Monday 06 February 2017  May 21 - Jun 21
Even if Venus and Mars hadn’t left your career sector over the last two weeks, Venus just over the weekend, they too would have been stopped in their tracks by Jupiter’s retrograde turn on Monday. For weeks now, both because he has been slowing down and before there has been so much else going on, lucky Jupiter has been forgotten. Yet turning retrograde in a fun, playful, romantic and creatively charged part of your chart on Monday, that is about to change. While this opens the doors to the past and second chances, it is Jupiter’s actual turn that makes everything else temporarily stop. This comes just as Venus is spending her first full week in a social and serendipitous part of your chart. While there is no danger of your professional game going off the boil, life itself is starting to fight back.

   Cancer Monday 06 February 2017  Jun 22 - Jul 22
While this week might seem to come from out of nowhere, in reality an explosion of activity across the income, work and career fronts has been slowly building for some time. Okay, maybe not the income opportunities, but then the weekend’s lunar eclipse in your income sector will be this year’s first real wildcard. It’s on the work and career fronts that things have been slowly coming together, with Venus’ return to your career sector over the weekend bringing everything to a tipping point. For the first time in nearly two years Venus and Mars have met up in your career sector and for just the second time in three decades, it is with the support of Saturn in your work sector. While you may still be catching up, either on work or sleep in the early part of the week, expect to come alive by midweek.

   Leo Monday 06 February 2017  Jul 23 - Aug 22
This is the week there is a division within the solar system, where a few planets are making a big noise and other, more subtle planets are banding together to work their magic behind the scenes. Those noisy planets are Jupiter, Venus and Mars, the glamour planets of the solar system. Jupiter will grab our attention with his retrograde turn on Monday, yet apart from slowing things down this is good news for you. Jupiter’s retrograde turn will open the doors to the past and second chances on the communication front, with a chance to give the past and unsaid words a voice. The timing couldn’t be better, with Jupiter immediately moving into support your relationships. This will be especially evident during a lunar eclipse over the weekend that could put pressure on your relationships.

   Virgo Monday 06 February 2017  Aug 23 - Sep 22
Venus and Mars, spending their first full week together in your financial sector in two years, won’t even try and compete with Jupiter in the early part of the week. Jupiter’s retrograde turn in your income sector is not just the event of the week, but one of the major events of 2017. This not only opens the doors to the past and second chances on the income front, but sets the scene for some fairly intense financial dynamics later in the month. To start with Jupiter is working closely with the Sun, just as Mercury returns to finally bring things up to speed on the work front. By midweek Venus and Mars will lose their patience and with Jupiter settled into his retrograde phase will demand at least some of the focus shifts back to money matters. Here there is a lot to get excited about.

   Libra Monday 06 February 2017  Sep 23 - Oct 23
Just as Venus and Mars come together to create some stunning developments on the relationship front, Jupiter’s retrograde turn in Libra on Monday thrusts your own needs onto centre stage. At this stage this won’t be a problem, but later in the month there could be more active competition between your personal and relationship needs. Yet with Venus, planet of love and guardian of your relationships not just taking your relationships under her wing for the next few weeks, but the majority of the next four months, then this is made to work to your advantage. While Venus is seen to be backing your relationships, as your ruling planet she will always have your back. Another planet who has your back is Saturn, helping to keep the communication lines open from the get go. Even the Sun is in your camp, bringing a fun and even romantic charge to the week.

   Scorpio Monday 06 February 2017  Oct 24 - Nov 21
Don’t be put off by conditions at the start of the week, for it is simply a case of Jupiter choosing the wrong time to turn retrograde. Or at least that’s how Venus and Mars will see it, champing at the bit to get things moving on the work front. This is the first time Venus and Mars have met up in your work sector in nearly two years and they’re ready to hit the ground running from Day 1. The problem is that Jupiter is not only turning retrograde on Monday, but in a nostalgic part of your chart. The largest planet in the solar system will be making a U turn in slow motion. Once retrograde this won’t have too much impact, other than a need for time to hear yourself think every now and then. By the weekend, a lunar eclipse in your career sector will be helping Venus and Mars to jump start things on the work front.

   Sagittarius Monday 06 February 2017  Nov 22 - Dec 21
There are two different camps in play this week and on paper they should be at odds with each other, creating conflicts and friction. Yet while one is loud and brash the other is quiet and subtle. You know what they say about the quiet ones. Three forces, in three different areas of your chart are fielding what can be described as the minor league. These are cosmic forces that are game changing, they’re not going to alter the course of the week or drag attention away from anything else. That’s why Venus and Mars, in this first full week in a playful and romantic part of your chart and a lunar eclipse in an adventurous part of your chart, won’t be threatened by them. They probably won’t even notice them. Yet behind the scenes, income, work and career forces are putting some very nice building blocks into play.

   Capricorn Monday 06 February 2017  Dec 22 - Jan 19
Jupiter has been slowing down in your career sector for weeks, so it will be no surprise that things have come to a complete stop. Jupiter’s retrograde turn on Monday is going to stop everything and not just professionally, but only during his turnaround. Once retrograde, Jupiter will spend the next four months holding the doors open to the past, second chances and untapped potential. Even as Jupiter turns retrograde there is support. The week will start with support from the Moon in your work sector, ensuring your antennas are tuned as the tide turns on the career front. The week will end with the Sun and Jupiter in a friendly aspect, Jupiter holding the doors open to the past on the career front, while the Sun reveals new income opportunities. Meanwhile, Mercury finally leaves Capricorn on Tuesday, putting the finishing touches on your game plan for this new solar year.

   Aquarius Monday 06 February 2017  Jan 20 - Feb 18
Your new solar year finally gets the green light or at least it will once Mercury finally returns to Aquarius on Tuesday. And not a moment too soon, for with the Sun leaving and your birthday month ending at the end of next week, you’re running out of time. Mercury is the planet that gives you the intellectually savvy edge needed to create your game plan and resolutions for the coming year. Venus and Mars have already moved through Aquarius. Mars left just before Christmas and Venus in the New Year. Their focus was on the ‘what’ and the ‘why’. So you began the year knowing what you wanted and what excited you, you just needed your birthday month and new solar year to get underway. The Sun is focused on ‘what is’ and since returning it has been all about an authentic starting point. Finally Mercury returns to help you figure out the ‘when, where and how’.

   Pisces Monday 06 February 2017  Feb 19 - Mar 20
Jupiter’s retrograde turn in your financial sector on Monday is no threat to Venus and Mars’ early days in your income sector, other than this could stop everything in its tracks. Later in the month there could be some friction between income and financial forces, but if you can start by working with both it won’t be a problem. Jupiter, focused on money matters as a whole, is taking the road already travelled. His retrograde turn will open the doors to the past, second chances and untapped potential. This is a major financial review that will run through to early June. Venus and Mars are focused on new income opportunities and their focus is on the road that has yet to be travelled. As long as they stick on their own side of the road there won’t be a problem. Unexpected work developments will give income opportunities a kick start, especially in the later part of the week.
