Weekly Sun Scopes Horoscopes Week of November 17 2014

General for Week Commencing: Monday 17 November 2014

   Aries Monday 17 November 2014  Mar 21 - Apr 19
This is the week where the old order begins making way for the new, with one of the most powerful driving forces this year beginning to transmute into what will become the driving force during 2014. It begins with Venus' departure from your financial sector on Monday, continues with the Sun's departure over the weekend and then with Mercury's departure next week. While Saturn will stay on until Christmas Eve, the powerful hold that money matters have had over your life, not just this year but for several years now, is losing its hold. At the same time, while Saturn won't leave and return to your sector of travel, adventure, learning and discovery, Venus' return on Monday and the Sun's over the weekend sees life start to tilt towards a more adventurous and exciting chapter.

   Taurus Monday 17 November 2014  Apr 20 - May 20
There are two major themes not so much fighting for your attention but coming together this week, making this an important week for both relationship and financial matters. However, with Mars and Pluto continuing to fuel a passion for adventure and a hunger for life's richer experiences, you'll find it hard to take yourself too seriously, while also bringing a reminder that on the relationship, financial or any other front that it's all about the journey. What we see this month is the beginning of the end for the old order and the early phases of the beginning of a new order. While powerful relationship forces, in play for the last few years won't pull back, with the focus shifting to money matters until Christmas Eve, the transfer from one to the other begins this week.

   Gemini Monday 17 November 2014  May 21 - Jun 21
Your challenge this week will be balancing what is an important week for both work and relationship matters, especially as they'll both be demanding your attention at the same time and both have legitimate reasons for why they should have your full attention. With Venus leaving your work sector on Monday, the Sun over the weekend, Mercury next week and Saturn on Christmas Eve, it's time now to start bringing things home, needing to keep your work hat on in an even more determined way. Yet with Venus returning to your relationship sector on Monday, the Sun over the weekend, Mercury next week and Saturn on Christmas Eve, a major new relationship era isn't waiting for your working year to end before demanding your attention. You'll also need to keep your money hat on.

   Cancer Monday 17 November 2014  Jun 22 - Jul 22
That your biggest problem not only this week but for the rest of the year is going to be finding a balance between work and play won't be obvious as you move into the new week. After all, with four planets in your romantic and creative sector and Venus in your work sector, but more focused on redefining your priorities in terms of job satisfaction, this shouldn't be a problem. However, while you'll start the week with a low key presence on the work front, by the end of the week you'll not only have the Sun and Venus in your work sector but a New Moon will ask you to draw a new line in the sand, asking that you commit to what is set to become bigger than anything you've seen in decades. Your relationships will also need your attention, with having the right work/life balance essential.

   Leo Monday 17 November 2014  Jul 23 - Aug 22
While home and family matters will remain important, becoming the foundation that everything else in your life depends on, already life is starting to open up or it will be during the course of the week. One problem that will develop during the course of the week will be finding a balance between work and play, which is something you have to get used to, for it's here to stay. To begin with this shouldn't seem a problem, for with Mars and Pluto in your work sector and only token forces in play on the playful front there will be little incentive to take your work hat off. That will change when Venus returns to a fun, playful, romantic and creatively charged part of your chart on Monday, not only followed by the Sun's return over the weekend but a New Moon as well.

   Virgo Monday 17 November 2014  Aug 23 - Sep 22
While Venus will leave your communication sector on Monday, during Neptune's first full day in direct motion in your relationship sector and as Chiron moves into his final 7 days in retrograde motion, there is plenty of support to ensure the communication lines are open, as the tide starts to turn on the relationship front. It's during Chiron's last week in retrograde motion that having the communication lines open is even more important, for this is when you're able to give the past and unsaid words a voice and lay some old ghosts to rest. It's just as well then that this is Mercury's last full week in your communication sector, for the time to ensure the communication lines are open is now. Home and family matters will benefit, especially as they start to demand more of your attention.

   Libra Monday 17 November 2014  Sep 23 - Oct 23
While the push to bring income matters home or onto the course you want them to continue on will continue right through to Christmas, with Venus leaving your income sector on Monday, the Sun over the weekend and Mercury next week, this is moving into its final phase. This does make it important to hold onto the desires and expectations and a sense of entitlement Venus leaves you with, to keep your eyes open and head out of the sand and work with Mercury's smart head for money, but it also means that money matters are starting to lose your full attention. What will become more important and supported as the week progresses is communication, something that both your relationship and home and family matters will benefit from. The tide is turning on the work front, but in slow motion.

   Scorpio Monday 17 November 2014  Oct 24 - Nov 21
While your birthday month won't end until the Sun leaves over the weekend, Venus' departure on Monday brings you to a point where you need to be ready to commit to the desires and expectations she leaves you with. From this point on it's more about the details and the 'when, where and how', with the main framework that your future will depend on already constructed. From then it becomes about taking ownership of your own future and taking a more pragmatic approach to walking the talk. In the meantime, there are new developments on the income front with Venus returning to your income sector on Monday, the Sun and Moon over the weekend, creating a New Moon and Mercury and his smart head for money returning next week. This will have big ramifications on the income, work and career fronts.

   Sagittarius Monday 17 November 2014  Nov 22 - Dec 21
How this week begins is set to be very different than how it ends, with quite literally one chapter starting to come to an end while another begins, during the course of just one week. While it's the Sun's return to your sign over the weekend that will not only kick off your birthday month and new solar year, but what is destined to become one of your most powerful and important solar years in 3 decades, Venus' return on Monday will see your heart become engaged. This is when the rear view mirror will start to lose its appeal, with your heart wanting to move on. What you can't know, but months down the track you'll look back and appreciate, is that the desires and expectations being born now are set to become the framework that your future will be constructed around.

   Capricorn Monday 17 November 2014  Dec 22 - Jan 19
Two different forces have you in their grip this week, creating an interesting set of circumstances. You'll begin the week with four planets in a social and serendipitous part of your chart, which is really putting you out there, making this an important week for personal and professional networking and for being in the thick of things. To begin with, while there is a desire for peace, quiet and a chance to hear yourself think, this is more likely to be felt in those moments when you're daydreaming or fantasising, about how nice it would be to be out of reach. This starts to become more of a reality as first Venus on Monday and then the Sun over the weekend returns to a more reflective part of your chart. This will give you more space and quiet time, but social forces aren't going away.

   Aquarius Monday 17 November 2014  Jan 20 - Feb 18
This week marks the beginning of the end of not just this professional year but a powerful professional push that began back in 2012. The professional gods aren't suddenly going to drop tools and walk off the job, yet by Christmas they'll have done just that, creating the first Christmas/Holiday period in several years where you really will have a chance to keep your professional hat off. What you'll have is a slow dropping off, however the progress begins this week, with Venus leaving your career sector on Monday, the Sun over the weekend, Mercury next week and finally Saturn, the last to go who will leave on Christmas Eve. As the professional focus starts to ease back more social and serendipitous forces start to take hold. You'll also need time to hear yourself think.

   Pisces Monday 17 November 2014  Feb 19 - Mar 20
While you won't lose a sense of adventure just yet, it will all be gone by Christmas only to be replaced by some of the biggest professional forces in decades and the shift from one to the other begins in earnest this week. Yet as important as it is to hold onto a sense of adventure it's equally important to grab hold of this week's professional developments, especially in light of the huge resources that will assemble over the Christmas/Holiday period, setting the scene for 2015 to become an important year for income, work and career success. In reality the shift has already begun thanks to Mars' visit over recent months, but it's Venus' return to your career sector on Monday, the Sun's over the weekend and a New Moon in his first 24 hours that really gets the show on the road.
