January 4 2015 Weekly Sun Scopes Horoscope

General for Week Commencing: Monday 05 January 2015

   Aries Monday 05 January 2015  Mar 21 - Apr 19
There are some changes this week that at the same break the professional stranglehold you moved into the year with, while deepening your professional focus. The focus becomes less all consuming, while what remains requires deeper reflection. The shift began over the weekend with Venus' departure from your career sector, continues with Mercury's departure on Monday and will really be brought home by Monday's Full Moon. Falling in your home and family sector this will not only put the focus on home and family matters, but will bring some work/life balance reminders. With Venus and Mercury joining Mars in his last full week in your friendship sector the professional focus looks like waning, until Ceres' return on Friday kicks off your most profound professional review in 4 years.

   Taurus Monday 05 January 2015  Apr 20 - May 20
Having Mars in your career sector since early December where he spent Christmas for the first time since 1999 meant that you never really had a chance to take your professional hat off over the holidays, but things kick in to gear this week to a point where this is when your new professional year differentiates itself from your 2014 professional year. Venus' return to your career sector on Sunday followed by Mercury's on Monday begins a handover, ensuring that even when Mars leaves next Monday you won't drop the ball. However, with the Sun staying on in an adventurous part of your chart and the Moon making its first visit to a fun, playful, romantic and creatively charged part of your chart for the year, you won't get away with letting life become all work and no play.

   Gemini Monday 05 January 2015  May 21 - Jun 21
The first full week of 2015 also plays host to the first Full Moon of the year and situated in your income sector on Monday, just a week before Mars' return to your career sector is set to kick your new professional year into gear, this will provide the kick start needed. As with all Full Moons there could be some pressure and in this case, with the Moon moving into opposition with the Sun during your annual financial review, some financial tension. This will provide the wakeup calls that both income and financial matters need, while giving you a nose for money as you start lining up for the start of this new professional year. This also marks the point where your financial focus shifts and by the end of the week chances are you'll start redefining your financial priorities.

   Cancer Monday 05 January 2015  Jun 22 - Jul 22
It's no accident that you will have a Full Moon in your sign at the most active point of the year for relationship matters, with the Moon not only putting your relationship intentions to the test but advocating for your own needs. It may be the early days of a new calendar year but Monday's Full Moon marks the halfway point in your current solar year, with a chance to look back at the intentions and promises you made yourself during your birthday month. If you didn't feel inspired to make any New Year resolutions last week it was because it wasn't your time, with Monday's New Moon marking the point where you need to be ready to make a commitment to the coming year. Don't read too much into any personal and/or relationship tension, for it's simply the Full Moon getting your attention.

   Leo Monday 05 January 2015  Jul 23 - Aug 22
Don't be surprised if you move into the first full week of 2015 with a case of Mondayitis, finding it hard to get motivated despite the fact that you've already got your work hat on. With the Sun always returning to your work sector just before Christmas and spending the first 3 weeks of January here, moving into the New Year with your work hat on will always be your priority. However, there is one safety system built into this, in that at some point during this month long visit a Full Moon will fall in a reflective, intuitive and imaginative part of your chart, demanding that you take time to hear yourself think. That Full Moon falls on Monday just as your new working year begins. While you'll hit your stride midweek the early days of the week bring a valuable chance to pause and reflect.

   Virgo Monday 05 January 2015  Aug 23 - Sep 22
Despite the fact that Venus returned to your work sector over the weekend and Mercury will return on Monday, just in time to support Mars in his final week and ensure you don't drop the ball, you'll find it a lot harder this week to keep your work hat on 24/7. With the Sun staying on in a fun, playful, romantic and creatively charged part of your chart and a Full Moon in a social and serendipitous part of your chart on Monday, you're slowly waking up to the fact that life can't be all work and no play. While the first 3 months of 2015 are destined to be the busiest, there are already moves afoot to ensure that a playful spirit not only remains, but becomes part of the fabric of the year itself. The upside is that you can have it all with the downside being that you'll need to work smarter.

   Libra Monday 05 January 2015  Sep 23 - Oct 23
While it's Mars' return to your work sector next week that is set to get your new professional year off the ground, Monday's Full Moon in your career sector is going to do a good job at jumping the queue. While the Moon will be gone by Wednesday and won't shape the week itself, falling just a week before Mars returns to kick off your busiest months since early 2013, this will help provide a sense of professional direction and perspective. However, with Venus having returned to a fun, playful, romantic and creatively charged part of your chart over the weekend, returning on Monday and Mars still firing up your romantic and creative passions, you won't get away with letting life become all work and no play. The coming months don't have those safeguards, so adopt them while you can.

   Scorpio Monday 05 January 2015  Oct 24 - Nov 21
First impressions of the first full week of 2015 and for some the return to work after the holiday period is likely to be that you've moved into anything but the powerful professional year you've actually moved into and that you're more likely to suffer a case of Mondayitis. Monday's Full Moon in an adventurous part of your chart will create a sense of wanderlust, curiosity and adventure, making it hard to pry yourself away from the holiday spirit. However, considering the huge income, work and career forces waiting for you this year it's more important that you embrace a sense of adventure and hold onto that holiday spirit for as long as you can, especially as it will dissipate by midweek. Once the professional gods get their hooks into you they won't let go.

   Sagittarius Monday 05 January 2015  Nov 22 - Dec 21
The money gods are not only extremely active this week they're competing for your attention in the early days of the week, which could create some intensity and even some financial tension. It's Monday's Full Moon in your financial sector that will bring both income and financial matters to a head, but coming at a crucial point of the year for income matters and at a time when you have some real support, this will keep you on your toes. Monday's Full Moon will present financial matters with a lot of intensity and in an amplified way, for with the Moon gone by Wednesday this is the only chance for money matters to be heard. By the weekend any financial tension will have transformed into a new sense of determination, especially on the income front as things start to stir professionally.

   Capricorn Monday 05 January 2015  Dec 22 - Jan 19
At some point during your birthday month you will be confronted by a Full Moon that will bring both personal and relationship wakeup calls. This is a rite of passage every birthday month must go through and it brings the inescapable wakeup calls that ensure you're not asleep at the wheel, moving forward into your new solar year on autopilot. This Full Moon is waiting for you as you move into the new week, standing sentinel as you move into the first full week of 2015 and the journey ahead. Falling in your relationship sector Monday's Full Moon is also a voice for your relationships and falling just as Mercury is leaving your sign, this brings an opportunity for a communication and/or relationship breakthrough. Forget New Year's Eve, Monday is the day for drawing a new line in the sand.

   Aquarius Monday 05 January 2015  Jan 20 - Feb 18
While you've moved into the New Year with no planets in either of your professional houses and for the first time in 3 years you've had a chance to take your professional hat off over the holiday period, you'll need to put it on, on Monday, albeit temporarily. This isn't a sign that you're back into the pressures of previous years for while Saturn will return to your career sector to tie up loose ends after his departure on Christmas Eve that won't be until June. Monday's Full Moon in your work sector is a valuable chance to get this new professional year up to speed, while capitalising on all you've invested over previous years. Once the Moon leaves on Wednesday you're back on your own, but not before giving work matters a push start, a week before things start moving on the income front.

   Pisces Monday 05 January 2015  Feb 19 - Mar 20
Monday's Full Moon is doing a really good job at disguising just what kind of year you've moved into and whether you're still on holiday or back at work you'll be met by playful forces that will make it hard to keep your work hat on. This is not only a temporary delay but a very necessary one, considering the professional year you've actually moved into. For the first time in 12 years you've moved into the New Year with Jupiter in your work sector and for the first time in 27 years Saturn in your career sector, bringing you to your most powerful professional year on record. Monday's Full Moon in a fun, playful, romantic and creatively charged part of your chart will do its best to remind you that life can't be all work and no play. By midweek professional forces will be closing back in.
