July 19 2015 Weekly Horoscopes We Live by the Sun

General for Week Commencing: Monday 20 July 2015

   Aries Monday 20 July 2015  Mar 21 - Apr 19
Welcome to the most interesting point in the year, where there are some major changes afoot or at least the seeds for change are being planted. It all began with Venus' premature return to your work sector over the weekend, leaving lucky Jupiter on his own in a fun, playful, romantic and creatively charged part of your chart. This is the earliest Venus has returned to your work sector in 8 years and the same thing that happened back in 2007 happens this time, in that she has gotten herself so far ahead of the Sun that she'll be pulled back in to line, turning retrograde on Saturday. This will see Venus retrograde back out later next week, but it's this dance between a playful and work focused part of your chart that is a snapshot of what the coming months will look like.

   Taurus Monday 20 July 2015  Apr 20 - May 20
You'll move into the week with a whole new experience, something that will be impossible to dismiss due to the fact that both your heart and your imagination will be caught up in this. For the first time this year you'll not only move into a new week with planetary activity in a fun, playful, romantic and creatively charged part of your chart but the planet leading the charge is Venus, planet of love. Venus only returned on Sunday and as Monday is her first full day, this really will feel like a fresh start, especially with the Moon at her side, fuelling your emotional, intuitive and imaginative responses. Something has shifted, for you've already reached an important week for communication and relationship matters and as the week progresses you'll find it harder to sweat the small stuff.

   Gemini Monday 20 July 2015  May 21 - Jun 21
There is one planet that is making waves this week and for once the right kind of waves, though there might be some teething problems around this in the early days of the week. It was Venus' return to your home and family sector over the weekend that began the first steps towards what, in just a few weeks' time will be the start of your best, biggest and most expansive year for home and family matters in over a decade. However, the Moon not only followed Venus in but in the early days of the week will put pressure on your professional life, bringing any work/life balance tensions to a head. With home and family matters due to become a lot more important over the coming weeks but your professional star still on the rise, this is a chance to sort out any balance issues from the get go.

   Cancer Monday 20 July 2015  Jun 22 - Jul 22
Your birthday month comes to an end when the Sun leaves your sign on Thursday and with Mercury leaving the next day this should be when a line in the sand is drawn, with your game plan for the future sown up. However, with Mars not only staying on but not due to leave until the 9th August this is what the planet of passion and the warrior planet of the cosmos has been waiting for. As the doors start to close on a period of defining your options and objectives for the coming year Mars puts his foot in the way, saying 'not so fast'. Before you fully commit to your new solar year and the journey ahead there's a chance to explore the things that excite you and your passions. You've had a chance to look at 'what is' with a chance now to look at what's possible, wanting more from life.

   Leo Monday 20 July 2015  Jul 23 - Aug 22
While Venus left your sign over the weekend this is not only far from the last you've seen of the planet of desire and attraction, the desires and expectations she's spent the previous 6 weeks fuelling are only now taking on a life of their own. By the time the Sun returns to your sign on Thursday to begin your birthday month and new solar year it will be to find that this has already begun in all but name, but also that you're ready to commit to your future in a way that isn't usually possible. When the Sun returned to your sign last year lucky Jupiter had just returned and he's been here ever since, working behind the scenes to create the building blocks for the future. As the Sun comes full circle Jupiter is still here, but due to leave next month it's time to bring everything together.

   Virgo Monday 20 July 2015  Aug 23 - Sep 22
This week sees the start of a dance that will play out over the coming weeks, where the past and future intersect and the veil between them blurs or disappears entirely. Venus' return to your sign over the weekend means your heart ready to move on, at a time when on both the relationship and romantic front the focus has and is still very much on the past. The past's hold on you will become stronger when the Sun returns to an intuitive and imaginative part of your chart on Thursday and Mercury the day after, to begin the month long wind down of your old solar year. However, by the weekend Venus will find the pull of the past too irresistible, with her retrograde turn over the weekend heightening an already potent sense of romantic nostalgia. Doors are opening to the past across the board.

   Libra Monday 20 July 2015  Sep 23 - Oct 23
At the start of the week there are 5 planets in direct and 5 in retrograde motion, with the balance between looking to the future and falling into a sense of nostalgia teetering on a knife edge. Yet a struggle to keep the focus on the future will inevitably fail, with Venus having not only returned to a nostalgic part of your chart over the weekend but turning retrograde this weekend, taking a sense of romantic nostalgia to a whole new level. Even Uranus will turn retrograde in your relationship sector over the weekend, ending the week with 7 planets in retrograde motion and only 3 in direct motion. While the doors are open to the past on the income, work, romantic, personal, relationship and other fronts, the areas still moving forward are on the career and adventurous fronts.

   Scorpio Monday 20 July 2015  Oct 24 - Nov 21
Venus is a planet that can't seem to make up her mind, while you get to enjoy the benefits. While Venus will normally spend less than 4 weeks in your career sector each year, fuelling your professional desires and expectations, attracting opportunities and attention your way, by the time she left over the weekend she had been here for 6 weeks. Yet Venus' return to a social and serendipitous part of your chart over the weekend is a chance for some light relief, with a chance to step back and let professional matters settle until the Sun returns to your career sector on Thursday and Mercury on Friday. However, while Venus will trigger some serendipitous developments while she's here, her retrograde turn over the weekend will eventually see her return to your career sector later next week.

   Sagittarius Monday 20 July 2015  Nov 22 - Dec 21
From out of nowhere your new career doors are opening, at a point in the year when this isn't usually the case. With the Sun not returning to your career sector until later next month, July should be a month where work matters continue to roll over and possibly you might be looking to the future. Yet you'll not only move into the week with Venus in your career sector but the Moon as well, making sure this gets your attention from the get go. This might throw you off guard, suddenly putting pressure on your work/life balance without any kind of warning or build up. Yet with lucky Jupiter now just a few weeks away this is a practice run, with a chance to listen to your heart and professional instincts. A taste of things to come provides the incentives to make work/life balance a priority.

   Capricorn Monday 20 July 2015  Dec 22 - Jan 19
While the money and relationship gods are likely to grab a large slice of your attention this week, with the Sun and Mercury both wrapping up their annual visit to your relationship sector and then returning to your financial sector to support lucky Jupiter in his final week, there is some unexpected competition. This is a time of year when the solar spotlight is always on your relationships and already the personal and/or relationship tensions of recent weeks are making way for a communication breakthrough, especially as support from Saturn in your communication sector peaks just before the Sun leaves your relationship sector on Thursday and Mercury on Friday. Yet both relationship and money matters have to compete with a new sense of wanderlust, curiosity and adventure in the air.

   Aquarius Monday 20 July 2015  Jan 20 - Feb 18
This is a week where the spotlight should be on the Sun's departure from your work sector on Thursday and return to your relationship sector, something that happens at this time every year. That is still the case, especially with Mercury making the same move on Friday, but the work focus continues after they've gone and the focus already on your relationships before they reach your relationship sector. Take Venus out of the equation and you have a week where the main focus is on work, career and relationship matters and while that is still the case Venus is in the equation and there's a new game in town. You'll not only move into the week with Venus in your financial sector but the Moon as well, with your financial instincts, desires and expectations getting your attention from the get go.

   Pisces Monday 20 July 2015  Feb 19 - Mar 20
Venus is a planet who will always put her interests first, going up against the rest of the solar system to push her cause and that's exactly what she's doing this week. This is a huge week for matters of the heart and work matters, with the Sun returning to your work sector on Thursday and Mercury on Friday, teaming up with lucky Jupiter for the last time until 2024. With Jupiter in his final weeks this comes just as you're ready to bring things home. Yet while the Sun and Mercury leave a fun, playful, romantic and creatively charged part of your chart, rather than a battle to find a balance between work and play ending it will only heat up, with Mars staying on to fuel your romantic and creative passions. It's in this crowded week that Venus thrusts your relationships into the limelight.
