While there could be some pressure
and in particular personal and/or relationship tension this week, but
this has less to do with your relationships and more to do with a
personal reawakening. At a time of year when there can often be more
pressure on your relationships, it is important not to take this as a
sign that something is wrong and is simply that Uranus, in his final
days in retrograde motion in your Aries is coming under pressure from
Jupiter, in his first Christmas in your relationship sector in 12 years.
It was eight decades ago that this last happened so you can’t be
expected to know how to manage this or see this as simply a need for
personal and relationship authenticity coming to a head at the same
time. This comes with a massive amount of support for friendship and
relationship building, with a need to see this as a positive. Something
new and wondrous is being awoken. |

Just in time for the holiday period
Mars has arrived to make this a dream week for catching up with friends
or just people that you share a common passion with. If you’ve planned
your holiday period around a group get together of any kind, then you’ll
be in your element. Birds of a feather flock together and whether
planned or unplanned, you’ll find that you naturally gravitate for those
that share your passion for life or specific passions. While you will
need to keep both your professional and work hats on this week, this is
being held in check by forces demanding that you also take some
downtime. If you push through you may find yourself under pressure, but
if you do simply look at where you could be working smarter. If you’re
carrying a heavy load, this would be a good week to get others to help
share that load. They’re not giving out any medals this week. |

The universe is so finely balanced
this week, so much so that if you get too much out of kilter then you’re
likely to find yourself feeling the stress. However, like the static
when tuning in a radio, simply keep adjusting your balance setting. You
know when you’ve tuned into a radio station because everything is
crystal clear and the sound comes through smoothly and the same will be
true for a week that demands a balance between work and play. While Mars
is teaming up with Neptune to create a dream start to your new
professional year and will spend the week fuelling your professional
passions and dreams, there are limits. Venus and Jupiter joined forces
over Christmas and will remain a force to be reckoned with all week,
bringing a sense of adventure, fun and romance together. You have also
reached an important week for friendship and relationship building. |

Jun 22 - Jul 22 |
Everywhere you look this week it
seems that you have your back covered, always a planet in the perfect
position to turn what could be a challenging week into an opportunity.
Yes, whether you are on holiday or working through you have reached one
of the most powerful professional weeks on record and no it’s not the
professional gods having a joke at your expense, there are checks in
play to ensure this doesn’t go too far. A major alliance between Saturn
in your work sector and Uranus in your career sector peaks this week, in
the lead up to a massive professional turnaround on Thursday. Yet just
in case Jupiter’s determination to ensure the right work/life balance
fails, Mars is busy fuelling a passion for adventure and a hunger for
life’s richer experiences. What is unfolding is bigger than any one
week, with major professional and life transformation underway. |

Because the Sun will always spend
the last 10 days and the first three weeks of every year in your work
sector, it is a given that you will need to keep your work hat on over
the holiday period, yet that shouldn’t be a problem this week. That is
despite the year’s last New Moon of 2016 falling in your work sector on
Thursday. This is more of a chance to start looking to the New Year. The
reality is, everything that needed to be done this year has already
been done and anything else not only can wait until the New Year, it
needs to. The professional gods know when they have met their match,
with a major alliance of playful and adventurous forces not to be messed
with. No matter what it is that keeps you busy, there must be a balance
between work and play, the holiday spirit will hit with a vengeance by
the weekend. |

Aug 23 - Sep 22 |
Don’t be alarmed by any financial
tension or pressure this week or see it as simply as the after effects
as you count the cost of Christmas. For the first time in eight decades
Uranus, in retrograde motion in your financial sector until Thursday has
moved into opposition with Jupiter, spending his first Christmas in
your income sector in 12 decades. Think of it as two powerful and
ultimately auspicious forces trying to squeeze through a narrow gap,
while fighting to take precedence. Any financial tension will peak
earlier in the week and by the time you reach the weekend it will
already be turning into motivation, especially on the income and job
fronts. All of a sudden you’ll be looking at 2017 through very different
eyes and not just financially and professionally. The love and
relationship gods have also left some of the best of this year until the
last. |

Sep 23 - Oct 23 |
Balance is likely to be an issue
this week, both between your personal and relationship needs, but also a
balance between work and play. Fortunately all sides not only have
support but the perfect support for the job at hand. While you have
lucky Jupiter supporting your personal needs you have Uranus supporting
your relationship needs, with is a direct turn on Thursday bringing the
promise of not only a turnaround, but also a major communication and/or
relationship breakthrough. At the same time, Mars is already in your
work sector firing up your passions and setting a dream start to your
new professional year before it even begins. Yet while Venus will join
him in the New Year to turn that dream start into a reality, in her last
full week in a fun, playful, romantic and creatively charged part of
your chart Venus is not about to let life become all work and no play. |

Oct 24 - Nov 21 |
There are two phrases that you need
to take to the heart this week and they are ‘don’t sweat the small
stuff’ and ‘don’t overreact’. With Uranus not only in his final days in
retrograde motion ahead of his direct turn in your work sector on
Thursday, but for the first time since he arrived in 2010, he is under
pressure from Jupiter, who is demanding that you take your work hat off.
This is impossible, for you have not only reached a major turning point
on the job front, but there is the very real potential for a major
income and job breakthrough. However, this doesn’t mean working through
the holiday and is more about simply paying attention. With major job
growth in the first half of 2017, this is also a timely reminder of the
importance of working smarter. Don’t get hung up on deadlines,
especially those self imposed. |

Nov 22 - Dec 21 |
You’re all of a sudden waking up to
what the wise have always known, that the things close to home and
life’s simply pleasures, means the most. If you’re on holiday, chances
are there will be little time for those boredom busters, like trips or
outings and instead there will be too much to do at home. Whether it is
revelling in a chance for some quality family time or getting stuck into
projects or even hobbies around the home, you’ll be in your element
when you get to spend time doing all those things you don’t usually have
time for. You’re able to lose yourself for hours in revisiting old
hobbies, finding new ones or just playing board games with the little
and not so little people in your family. It is the people and things
close to home that are your true treasures in these final days of 2016. |

Dec 22 - Jan 19 |
While having Jupiter in your career
sector over Christmas, New Year and the holiday period was going to
create some work/life balance issues, what isn’t the norm is for them to
be as extreme as they’re likely to be this week. Uranus, in your home
and family sector from 2010 to 2019 and due to turn direct here on
Thursday, is not too happy about even just having Jupiter in your career
sector, with their opposition this week bringing it all to a head. Yet
falling over the holiday period and with 2017 destined to be such an
auspicious year for both professional growth and home and family
matters, this is the perfect chance to sort any balance issues once and
for all. In meantime, while the first full week of your birthday month
and a New Moon on Thursday brings a chance to look to the future, 2016
still has unfinished business and plenty of time to explore your
options. |

Monday 26 December 2016 |
Jan 20 - Feb 18 |
From within, a new cry can be heard
this week, one that is asking ‘what about me’? While Mars’ return to
your income sector last week has begun a mission to smash through glass
ceilings, this is less about the money and more about fighting for what
you deserve across all the currencies in your life. All of a sudden your
inner two year old is ready to throw a tantrum if it doesn’t get what
it wants, but while you might blame others for always jumping the queue,
chances are it was you who let them. However, this is not just about
waking up to what you deserve and what you’ve been missing out on and
instead this is a symptom of something deeper. With Mars having just
left Aquarius last week and Venus here until the early days of the New
Year, you’re waking up to what you’ve been missing out on. |

Pisces |
Monday 26 December 2016 |
Feb 19 - Mar 20 |
All of a sudden you have not only
found your voice but your fighting spirit as well, as you not only
prepare to move into the New Year with Mars in your sign, but teaming up
with dreamy Neptune. It has been nearly two years since the planet of
passion and the warrior planet of the cosmos was last in Pisces and the
fact that he’s back all of a sudden has you excited about life. That
doesn’t mean that anything is going to change outwardly and in fact,
everything is likely to look much as it did last week, but your
perspective has shifted. The things that daunted you or seemed
insolvable problems before are now exciting challenges to overcome. This
is likely to be especially so on the financial front, with financial
tensions turning into motivation. Something has shifted across your life
and you’re ready to start fighting back. |
