March 19 2017 Weekly Horoscope We Live by the Sun Feel by the Moon

General for Week Commencing: Monday 20 March 2017

   Aries Monday 20 March 2017  Mar 21 - Apr 19
All eyes are on the Sun this week, as one solar year comes to an end and the other begins. The Sun’s return to Aries kicks off your birthday month, a new solar year and return to your native energy. You were born with the Sun in Aries and by the time you wake on Tuesday morning, the Sun coming over the horizon at dawn will be an Aries Sun. Regardless of when your birthday falls over the coming month, the moment the Sun returns to Aries there is an opportunity for rebirth. And this year, you’re moving into your most powerful year ever. Just to have Uranus and Eris aligned in Aries, Uranus here for seven years and Eris your entire lifetime is a once in a lifetime experience. Already new doors are open and Venus even has the doors open to the past, second chances and untapped potential.

   Taurus Monday 20 March 2017  Apr 20 - May 20
On one hand the Sun’s return to Aries this week marks the start of the month long wind down of your old solar year, while on the other hand this has already begun, in all but name. The year isn’t even three months old, yet you’ve already been through the six week wind down of your current Mars cycle, the wind down of your current Venus cycle has been underway for six weeks and your current Mercury cycle since late last Tuesday. Already that’s a lot of time reflecting, with Venus taking you in some of the deepest reaches of love’s memory lane you’ve ventured into in years. Yet with Mars already in Taurus, already opening new doors and getting you excited about what the future holds, the past no longer holds your full attention. The Sun’s return to a nostalgic part of your chart will throw the spotlight on what is a major point of the year for reflection.

   Gemini Monday 20 March 2017  May 21 - Jun 21
All eyes are on the Sun this week, especially in the early part of the week as its month long visit to your career sector ends and a month long visit to your sector of friendship, teamwork and networking begins. The Sun is the only cosmic body that you can set your clock to, always leaving your career sector and returning to your friendship sector at this time every year. However, the other planets don’t run to the same tight timetable and the Sun will return to find there is already a huge amount of focus on your friendships, social life and matters and on personal and professional networking in general. Even the Moon is in on this, starting the week not only in your relationship sector but aligned with Saturn. The week begins with a boost for personal and professional friendship and relationship building.

   Cancer Monday 20 March 2017  Jun 22 - Jul 22
To be once bitten is twice shy or so the old adage tells us and chances are you’ll have that in mind in the early part of the week. Last week started with professional pressures and work/life balance tensions easing back, lulling you in to a belief that you had a much easier week on your hands. It didn’t take long for that to turn on you, with the Moon not only returning to your career sector, but triggering some still sensitive trigger points. This saw the bandage ripped off a healing relationships between your home and professional lives. It may even have taken you back to square one. But here you are again, at the start of another week and once again, the coast looks clear. You do start the week with the Moon in your work sector and the Sun just hours away from your career sector, but this is no threat. This week you really can trust that the week won’t turn on you.

   Leo Monday 20 March 2017  Jul 23 - Aug 22
As much as the Sun will shift the solar spotlight once a month and this week it shifts from financial to more adventurous matters, that is all that changes. A sense of wanderlust, curiosity and adventure has been in effect for months now. Ever since Mars’ return to your sector of adventure, travel, learning and discovery in January fired up a passion for adventure and a hunger for life’s richer experiences. Even before the Sun returns on Monday, this is something that is still growing strong. Even Venus, in retrograde motion in this adventurous part of your chart, is holding the doors open to the past and second chances. At the same time while the Sun takes the spotlight off money matters, they are in safe hands. Despite growing professional momentum, there is plenty of fun and adventure in the air this week.

   Virgo Monday 20 March 2017  Aug 23 - Sep 22
What a difference a week makes. Chances are last week was a challenging week, especially if you were in situations on the home, family, professional or even relationship front where things were up in the air. When things can swing one way or the other that is a recipe for some major stress for you and some major exhaustion. As a Virgo you don’t like uncertainty, mainly because you can’t stop your mind from over thinking things on both sides of the fence and that’s exhausting. This week you have a lot more certainty and therefore a lot less mental tension. The first thing you will notice is a new sense of stability on the home and family fronts. That is especially so if anything has been up in the air. This allows you to focus on ‘what is’ and not on ‘what ifs’. As the week progresses this will have a ripple effect across the relationship, financial and even work fronts.

   Libra Monday 20 March 2017  Sep 23 - Oct 23
Any week that begins with the Moon in your communication sector is going to be a good one and not just because it will help ensure the communication lines are open from the get go. Your communication sector is a smart and intellectually savvy part of your chart and the Moon is pure emotion and intuition. When they come together this creates a mix of intuition and logic, imagination and intelligence. This will be just as helpful in the Sun’s final hours in your work sector as it will when he returns to your relationship sector. The Sun will return to your relationship sector less than six hours before the Moon leaves your communication sector on Tuesday, ensuring the communication lines are open from the get go. While tensions are easing, a need for balance between your personal and relationship needs remains. That’s not possible without the communication lines open.

   Scorpio Monday 20 March 2017  Oct 24 - Nov 21
The Moon can trigger the worst of conditions and the best of conditions. It was the Moon’s return to an intuitive and imaginative part of your chart and opposition with work forces last week, that saw a flare up of work tension and job pressure. Fortunately it was just a short flare up, but it was a reminder of the importance of working smarter. This week the Moon redeems itself, starting the week in your income sector, ensuring your nose for money is sharp from the get go and the timing couldn’t be better. For less than six hours before the Moon leaves your income sector on Tuesday, the Sun will return to your work sector. Where last week the Moon was putting pressure on work forces, this week there is nothing but support, especially in the early part of the week.

   Sagittarius Monday 20 March 2017  Nov 22 - Dec 21
Starting the week with the Moon in Sagittarius will always give you an intuitive edge and will ensure your instincts are sharp from the get go. This is an important visit for the Moon, the last before Saturn turns retrograde in just a few weeks' time, beginning a major review period. As the Moon aligns with Saturn on Monday, this will give you an intuitive sense of when you need to stand your ground, when you need to push on and when you need to hold back. It’s that intuitive edge that will make it easier to deal with this week’s biggest problem, a problem the rest of us would love to have. Things are not just coming together on the job front this week, but across the income, work and career fronts. That’s not the problem. The problem is that matters of the heart and all things fun, playful, romantic and creative get a boost this week as well. Some juggling will be required.

   Capricorn Monday 20 March 2017  Dec 22 - Jan 19
If you find yourself spending a lot of time in your head, especially at the start of the week, it’s not surprising. You not only start the week with the Sun in a smart and intellectually savvy part of your chart, but the Moon in an intuitive and imaginative part of your chart. Together they bring a mix of intuition and logic, imagination and intelligence that you’re able to apply to any situation. Even though they will have both moved on by Tuesday, you’ll start the week with an edge that will be easy to maintain. It’s then that the Sun turns the solar spotlight onto your home and family situation and matters, as he does at this time every year. This will not only highlight all that has been developing here for some time, but what is behind any conflict between your home and family lives.

   Aquarius Monday 20 March 2017  Jan 20 - Feb 18
If you were to take a snapshot of the early and later hours of the week, you would see a week that was all about income matters, except for the big gap in the middle. The week begins with the Sun in your income sector, but he will be gone by Tuesday. Yet the Moon’s return on Saturday will see a nose for money kick in and clues to some stunning revelations. The Sun’s departure should bring an end to the active months of the year for income matters. Yet, by the time the Moon leaves next Monday, Venus will be just a week away from a rare double dip visit, just her second into your income sector in 107 years. By then the Sun will be well gone, turning the solar spotlight onto your communications, including all the support already in place.

   Pisces Monday 20 March 2017  Feb 19 - Mar 20
This is one year when all is not what it seems when the Sun leaves Pisces on Monday, bringing your birthday month to a close. With Venus, Mercury and Mars having already moved through Pisces your heart has already had its say, you’ve had a chance to get your head around your options and establish what excites you, your passions and fighting spirit. There is nothing left other than for the Sun to tie up loose ends, finalise your intentions, game plan and resolutions for the coming year. Yet even after the Sun turns the spotlight onto your income situation, matters and options, there is likely to be a sense that you have forgotten something or that you’re maybe not sure. That is coming from the fact that this is far from the end of the story. With Venus returning to Pisces early next month, you will have an opportunity for a do over.
